A shaky start to World Domination. The heat race ended with a fuel issue and post a DNF. Repair with a quick blow to the fuel line and the car was good to go. Started the pursuit 2nd from the rear with Curtis Coulter behind him. Cornstocker brought the car home 4th. The feature race starting position was 8th. By lap 10 Cornstocker was in second place. A few laps later a pass on a ill handling Jimmy Dale, Cornstocker toke the lead. One observer could not believe the forward bite, "the front wheels where both lifting". "It feels good to get back with a feature win", said Cornstocker. He also said the track was in the best shape ever, in his years of racing.
