Happy Canada Weekend everyone! We were excited to be back at the track after re-clipping the front end and straighting the rear end over the past 2 weeks. Tonights racing action was unfortunately better than our car. Brake bias issues during the heat race push the car around. After the race we resolved the problem. Since we did not race last week we do not run the Pursuit. This left use with lots of time to make adjustments. Unfortunately I think we over adjusted the car. The way we looked at it is that you can go to the far side of good setup and be very badly setup. We ended creating so much left rear bite, that the car would chase up the track each time the throttle was applied exiting the corner. It became a situation that you had to learn to drive the situation. This got Wheel to third place with 3 laps to go. Battling hard with 1D Paul Degoey at this point for position. Unfortunately everything came crashing down right about this time. A nasty bump along the D and going into turn one upset the car badly and spun out. I think Wheel must have been wrestling a bear. I am pleased with the car after the wreck June 14, and we know what was wrong tonight. Mistakes do happen. Better luck next time. Congratulations to Curtis Coulter for his Victory. Thanks to all our sponsors ( http://www.cornstock.com/sponsors.html ) and the fans that stop by the bus after the race. Quote for this week: "Dale Earnhardt told me it doesn't matter if fans boo or cheer, as long as they're making noise." 'Kurt Bush'
